The IMS4334 Egress/EgressII is a digital filter bank VLSI for W-CDMA/3GPP-MC digital repeater system (SPU : Signal Processing Unit). It satisfies KTiCOM 3GPP-MC digital repeater system benchmark test requirements. It can work with or without external host processor.

However, the companion chip IMS5016E from Infinior MicroSystems enables it to be a highly reliable and controllable system. The Egress chip set has no synthesis filter bank inside can be used only with a DDS chip from analog Device or other vendors. The EgressII has synthesis filter bank and I,Q summing circuit inside.

The Egress can be replaced by EgressII without PCB change.
